Corporate Contributions

As a non-profit organization, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of businesses across Canada. Larger contributions help fund essential projects, exhibit improvements, and building upkeepβ€”decisions made collectively by our dedicated members. If your company is interested in making a meaningful impact, please reach out to us.

Membership & Admission – Be Part of Our Museum Family

Our museum thrives thanks to the dedication of passionate volunteers who contribute both their time and an annual membership fee. These contributions, along with admission fees, help support the preservation and maintenance of our historic buildings and expansive grounds. Becoming a member is a wonderful way to stay connected, support local history, and be part of a community that values heritage. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to welcome you!

GrantsΒ

To help sustain the museum, we apply for grants that supplement admission and membership fees. Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive funding from SaskCulture, the Museums Association of Saskatchewan (MAS), Young Canada Works, the Built Heritage Grant Program of the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation, and New Horizons for Seniors.

Each of these grants plays a vital role in keeping the museum thriving:

  • SaskCulture Grant – Supports cultural programming, ensuring we can offer engaging exhibits, events, and activities that celebrate our region’s rich heritage.
  • MAS Grant – Provides resources for operational improvements, helping us enhance our museum spaces and develop educational programs.
  • Young Canada Works Grant – Helps cover a portion of the costs to hire one to two summer students, providing them with valuable work experience while assisting with daily operations, visitor services, and museum upkeep.
  • Built Heritage Grant Program (Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation) – Assists with the restoration and preservation of our historical buildings, ensuring they remain structurally sound and true to their original character.
  • New Horizons for Seniors – Focuses on initiatives that engage seniors in the museum, whether through volunteer opportunities, storytelling projects, or workshops that connect different generations.

These grants, along with community support, allow us to continue preserving and sharing history in meaningful ways.
