From making butter and ice cream to doing laundry the old-fashioned way, students experience daily life just like Saskatchewan settlers once did. Each activity is designed to engage the senses, spark curiosity, and help students appreciate how far we’ve come.

During the tour, students will:
- Visit a historic one-room schoolhouse
- Dress in pioneer-style clothing
- Attend "class" in an authentic classroom
- Visit the Frenchman Butte CN Station
- Explore our restored General Store
- Help with rope-making and laundry
And more — all while learning local history through fun and storytelling.

Before heading home, students enjoy a taste of what they’ve made — including their own butter and ice cream. It’s a delicious way to wrap up a day of learning, laughter, and discovery.
